On 29/1/2005, at Nam Dinh Center of IT and Foreign Languages, 28 part time students ( In-service training)from class 7500B1 of Computer Science (specialized in System Management) were receiving their diploma of Bachelor in computing engineering in a solemn graduation ceremony. The Presidium of the ceremony included :
 

• Dr. Thai Thanh Son – Professor and Dean of FIT , Chairman

• Mr. Luong Cao Dong – MS , Deputy Dean of FIT

• Dr. Nguyen Dich – A/Professor and Head of Department of Applied Mathematics of FIT

• Mr. Vu Viet Anh, Head, Center for Equipment & System management
  and Mr. Nguyen Tat Thang – Vice Director of the Nam Dinh provincial service of Education and Training Service of Nam Dinh

• Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hai – MS, Director of Nam Dinh Center of IT and Foreign Languages and many distinguished guests from Nam Dinh local government and Nam Dinh provincial service of Education & Training also assisted to the ceremony.

In the ceremony, the 28 students of class 7500B1 were in the midst of the great elation of receiving their diploma, shared by their lecturers who had been together with them during the four-year course (2000-2004)     After the official speeches of the Chairman, of the representative of Nam Dinh provincial service of E&T and the Nam Dinh center of IT&FL, Doan Minh Man – the representative of new graduates – made a speech which was full of love and respect. Here is an extract from his speech:  “ ...Learning to know, Learning to do, Learning to be and Learning to live together - are the four pillars of Education in this century( J. Delors). Although we, FIT HOU students of class 7500B1, although some were graduated from other universities, some are managers or have already different occupations and positions, all of us have studied with a great endeavour and a great desire of studying, researching and discovering the everlasting knowledge of Information Technology. We all have studied to fulfill our wish of mastering the modern science and technology in the period of Industrialization and Modernization of our country; as well as being in tune with the present globalization movement in this ITC era. We still remember our first days of this course, we could still feel the worries and nervousness at that time, as well as the questions that whether we could follow the course; if we could obtain the knowledge taught by the lecturers. There were also difficulties like family matters, timetable for combining study and work... However, all of the difficulties have been overcome, thanking for the enthusiasm and helpfulness of our teachers in study and daily life, which has encouraged us in learning and working. The past four years are of a period of wishes and hope which now come true. It is an honour for us to receive the diploma from the scientific and academic board as it is a fit reward for our teachers’ distinguished services and our endeavour of accessing to the peak of knowledge. We will never forget what our teachers have done for us during the past four years. I hope that you, our teachers, will always remember us as good students and those who somehow have brought into play the traditional fondness for learning of Tran Nam Ha’s hometown – the fatherland of highly glorious Tran Dynasty.”
To end his speech, Doan Minh Man was on behalf of all of the new engineers to restate the traditional wish of FIT HOU graduate: “We will never stop self-studying and training in all aspects; discovering and receiving modern science and technology; contributing into the development of our nation and motherland and the great undertaking of national renovation, industrialization and modernization, in which information technology is the key industry.”
