On the occasion of the 2005 New Year and the Traditional Spring Festival (Tết) of the year of the Cock (Ất Dậu), Doctor Thai Thanh Son (Professor, Dean, Faculty of Information Technology, Hanoi Open University - FITHOU; Chairman, Academic Board of the Center of for IT and Management - CITM) has sent an open letter to all Professors, Lecturers, Staff members and Students of FITHOU and CITM.
In the letter, Prof Thai Thanh Son highly appreciated the bright success and achievements that FITHOU and CITM have acquired in the past school year 2003-2004 in all areas:
- Upgrading and updation the training curriculum for FITHOU and CITM.
- Implementation and modernization facilities and equipment.
- Restructuring of organizations at the Faculty and the Center.
- Training and re-training staff members.
- Development of international co-operation.
The Dean has also mentioned about principal retaining lacks on effort and discipline of some staff members and students in working and studying then proposed to every FITHOU and CITM members:
"We are not afraid of having lacks and limitations, the only thing we have to avoid is that we are not trying to overcome these difficulties to move forward".
For conclusion Prof Thai Thanh Son sent to all FITHOU and CITM members and students, as well as to ancient members of the BIG FAMILY of FITHOU and CITM.
