Good news!!!
The Presidium of the Central Committee
of Vietnam Associations of Science and Technology (VAST)
approved Decision n0 152/QD-LHH dated 22/02/2005 which states that 16 scientists and businessmen of Vietnam Association of Information Technology (VAIT) are awarded medals of “For the development of Associations of Science and Technology” in recognition of their long-term and outstanding contributions to the growth of the National Industry of Information Technology.
Dr. Thai Thanh Son, Professor and Dean of FIT,
member of the executive committee of VAIT
has had the honour to be one of the 16 awardees.
The award presentation was solemnly held in the ceremony of
2005 ict meeting
The ceremony took place at Hanoi Melia Hotel on 25/02/2005 with the participation of Leaders from Ministry of Postal Service and Telecommunications, Ministry of Science-Technology, Ministry of Commerce, VAST, VAIT, Vietnam Association of Electronic Enterprises and many distinguished scientists, educationists and businessmen from all over the country.
This is also an honour for our FIT and the VAIT’s Branch in HOU
