In the frame of AAOU - Asian Association of Open Universities, HOU and Yunnan Radio-Television University - YRTVU- have had a long term relationship.
This July, being informed about the holiday tour of FitHou staff to Kun Ming, the President of YRTVU, MS SHAO NAN has extended an invitation to a group of FitHOU faculties to visit the main campus of YRTVU in Kun Ming. |
On Monday July 18th, 2005, on behalf and by delegation of President SHAO NAN, Prof. TANG SHI JUN, Director, International Relation Office of YRTVU warmly welcomed a group of 11 faculties from FITHOU, headed by Prof. THAI THANH SON visiting the new built campus of YRTVU.
After a short presentation about the development of YRTVU during a period of 25 years, Prof. TANG invited the guests to visit The Radio - Television Center and the new installed Center for Online Training Management. |

Through direct contact, discussion and experiences exchange with YRTVU staff working at these 2 Centers, young engineers and staff members from FitHOU were very impressed with fantastic achievements in the last 5 years 2001-2005 of YRTVU in the field of new technology application in Distance Education and Open Learning.
This short working visit trip, once more, tightened the long term existing friendship between Hanoi OU and Yunnan RTVU.
